Extras!

Mini Olympics:
We send a team to the Sheffield mini Olympics gala which is held at ponds forge 2 - 3 times per year. This is gala for children drawn from any of the swimming lesson providers in Sheffield and is intended to give them a positive experience of taking part in a competition.

Swimming Clubs:
If children show promise and want to take competitive swimming forward, we send children to the following swimming clubs - Sheffield city, City of Sheffield, Stocksbridge Pentaqua, Chapeltown Dolphins, Dronfield Dolphins, Eckington, Rotherham Metro.

Water Polo:
We also hold regular water polo sessions which are very popular. There is usually a water polo taster competition in the city for the children to try out. We encourage children with any potential to join the Sheffield Water Polo Acadamy which is based at the Goodwin pool (Sheffield University)

Diving:
The City of Sheffield diving programme is very successful and children showing potential in diving will be encouraged to move there.
